Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

I used $65,000 of my personal money toward a house down payment so my boyfriend/I could live there. the house went in his name since my credit was tied up at the time. the plan was for us to marry, have kids, etc. so I wasnt worried at the time about getting the mortgage in my name. My boyfriend became severely mentally abusive/threatening to me and my family. making terrible scenes in front of my family and friends. (I have lots of character references regarding his volatile behavior.) I eventually filed a police report and left him for my own safety. Now I want to sue him to get my $65,000 back. I dont think he should be rewarded for his abusive behavior by getting the house with my personal $65,000 invested in it. What kind of a lawyer can help me do this?
