Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

86 and Robbed By Son

The problem: He's 86 and was sick, his son decided to box all his valuables, and brought it to their home for safe keeping.

Once he regained his health he wanted his things back in his home where they belonged!

The son agreed to return the items.

While unpacking, he noticed that some of the more prized items where missing.

The son claimed he didn't have them.

Arguments ensued.

He persisted to recover his stolen items. The son denied having them.

He called the County Sheriff.

The sheriff said they admitted to having the items but, claim they were given to them by his wife before she died.

Re: 86 and Robbed By Son

Hello and thank you for your

question. Assuming the

father files a civil suit

against his son, this will

be a case for a jury. In

either case, the son should

definitely have legal

representation ( a lawyer is

a must)!!!!!
