Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois
My 17 yr old was the victim of an assault. Offenders are juveniles. We opted for the offenders to go through peer mediation rather than take this in front of a judge. Can a civil suit be filed in order to compensate for damages due to the juvenile offenders actions?
