what to do when accused of stealling at the mall but by mistake I got embarrased rouhg up by the police and after they didnt find anything just said sorry.

If you were detained and then found to be guilt-free you may be the victim of what is called "false imprisonment" which you can sue because of, but if there were reasonable grounds for being detained, you could lose. As to being "roughed up" you might also have the right to file a police report for assault and battery, and sue on it, but again if there's no evidence except your word against theirs, you could easily lose. Decide what it is you want out of this situation and then talk to the people, and bring someone with you, like a lawyer......
