Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois
Automobile sale
We sold a vehicle to a friend under the assumption that it would be paid for within a year. Now it is almost 4 years later and he still owes us 1350.00. And we havent recieved a payment in over a year in a half what rights do we have?

Re: Automobile sale
If you had a written contract with your "friend," you can certainly sue in small claims court. If you had only a verbal agreement, you can still sue, however, it may be a little more difficult to recoup the monies owed.
