Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois
Our baseball team solicited organizations for a team banner. The money was collected, but there no banner produced. There was several parents that are upset with mishap. I was curious what responsibility or liability the people that collected the money and never produced a banner were accountable for.

Not only am I an attorney, but I have previously run a travel softball as well as a travel baseball program. They should return all monies otherwise a fraud has been committed.

What you are describing is not a mishap, but rather 'conversion', or possibly fraud. If the people that collected the money don't return it upon demand, you should definitely contact an attorney.
