my boyfriend of 7 years contracted herpes and then intentionally gave it to me. I just recently found out he had it and had given it to me. It there anything legally I can do about this?

Yes. You can file a suit against him under many different theories. He has also committed a felony and you should contact the Winnebego States Attorney.
