Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois
My brother borrowed a car from my parents. He was going to use the car for three months, however he used it for two years. The car was parked in front of his house when someone hit it and took off. The insurance company decided to total the car and gave my brother $1300.00 minus a $500.00 deductalbe.Does he owe my parents anything?

Depends on what arrangement he had with the parents. Otherwise, based on what you have written, I don't see why he would owe anything additional.
