Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois
I have a cell phone contract with Sprint. My friend fell into some hard times and she needed a cell phone so I decided that i would help her out by agreeing that i would add additional line under the terms that she would pay half of the bill. This happend in August of 2010. It is now March of 2011 and she hasn't paid anything. I have text messages showing where she would pay and text messages of her having an excuse of why she couldn't pay. Do you think i have a chance in small claims court of recieving a judgement in my favor?
