Chicago Condo Law

The Condo unit above me pipe issues which caused water damage in my bathroom. The Association fixed the pipes, but refuses to fix ceiling's drywall. I had been told by my insurance company that the assocication is responsible for repairing the drywall and primer. Is that correct?

Depends on the Dec and Bylaws, But unit above you should be responsible for the repair.
