My dog was injured

my dog was injured while playing & running she got hooked by a bolt that was sticking out of a utility pole on my property..shouldn't that be covered? & is the utility company laible?

If you have homeowner's insurance, it may be covered by your policy. Otherwise, you can try to make a claim against the utility company, although they probably do not have an obligation to pay for your dog's injury. It never hurts to ask, however. Try contacting the utility's customer service and see if it gets you anywhere.

You need to read your policy to see whether an injury to an animal is covered. You can contact the utility company, but I doubt that you will receive a positive response.
