Re: Drunk and Disorderly

Your daughter should not just plead guilty and pay a fine. This wil result in a conviction being entered on her record which may come back to haunt her in a variety of very serious ways. She should hire a criminal defense attorney in her geographical area or in the area of the court in which the charge is pending. The attorney should be able to defend the charge or arrange a plea bargain which will avoid her having to take a conviction. I practice in many counties throughout the state of Illinois, and you may call me for a consultation or have your daughter call.
