enforcing a contract
A company signed a contract to provide a copy of three documents. They have not done so. Can they be sued strictly in order to compel them to abide by this contract and to release these documents, or must they be sued for a sum of money if they don't?

You have two choices:
1- a cause of action for breach of contract seeking a specific performance as your request from court; or
2- you may file an injunction asking the court to prevent them from doing what they are doing (which is not releasing the documents you are seeking).
Either way, you will need a lawyer to properly execute what you want done.

You can only receive specific performance of the contract's promises if money damages will not adequately compensate you. You have not told us enough to make that determination.
