Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

How to evict my 30 year old daughter with grandson. We, parents, in our mid 50s have full custody of our daughters 11 year old girl. Daughter has drug & alcohol addictions with long line of theft and drug related felonies and more arrests. Allowed her to move in 2 years ago to do hep c treatment for 6 months, complete rehab, & probation requirements. Now she won't work, help in house, doesn't pay rent. She does nothing but sleep, stay out all night & is disrespectful.. Has relapsed. Ive talked to her till im blue in the face about our agreement. she!s not listening and doesnt care. even enrolled in jr college and says she has to stay 2 - 3 more years! Helping is past, now we, the parents, are enabling. I work fulltime & exhausted with ulcers. my husband hides his head in the sand. I'm about ready to leave my upper middle class home & husband if she doesn't get out. I do not want to raise another grandchild. The grandson's dad is involved and pays child support. A women's center or shelter would be more help to her than me. Help and advise is greatly appreciated.

Your daughter is your tenant. Since the terms of the arrangement are unclear, the conservative route would be to give her a 30 day notice, which may require some expertise if there are terms and conditions involved. If she does not voluntarily move out by the end of the 30-day period, you would have to file an eviction lawsuit against her.
