how to find out if im divorced

i am trying to find out if my fmer wife ever filed for and received a divorce.

Hello. Divorce records are kept by the Clerk of

the Circuit Court. A search of the records listing your wife as petitioner could be done. If the divorce is prior to 1999, it is a warehouse file, but this information can still

be obtained, assuming your wife filed for divorce

in the State of Illinois. I will be happy to
