Golf balls from nearby golf course

We bought a new home, and it is located very close to the golf course. Each week we find 7-10 golf balls on our back yard. I have kids and worry that one day ball might hit them. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I would write a letter to the golf course explaining your situation and that you fear for the safety of your children. Send it certified mail keeping a copy on file for yourself. Inform the golf course of the potential threat to you and put them on notice.

You probably do not have a claim unfortunately, until someone gets hurt or your property is damaged. So if an injury/damage does occur you have already put the golf course on notice by writing the letter.
