What's your goal and have they done so yet? You're not clear. Normally when you switch attorneys the new attorneys need to get up to speed with whatever the old ones have done (or not done) and that could include all of your own papers in the old attorneys' file. Normally if you sign an engagement agreement the new attorneys will include their ability to do so in the agreement; do you have one and have you reviewed it? Without the ability to communicate, you may be crippling your own case. Otherwise, the new attorneys should abide by your requests unless the requests violate the law or the attorneys' code of professional responsibility, which they should explain to you and if you persist, even the new attorneys may have the right to withdraw.
