Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois
legal action
my girlfriend is blackmailing me that she will take legal action against me becouse she wants me to give her back all the presents and some money that she gave me in the past without telling me that she wanted them back ever plus she wants me to pay for the cellphone line that she gave me so she could talk to me for free.I have never sined anything exepting to pay her back for anything. My question is ''is there any type of legal action that she could take and actually win a case like this?Sould i have to worry about it at all? Please let me know what are the possibilities and what are my options!
Thank you very much!

Re: legal action
She can try to sue you to recover the property or to get you to pay for the cell phone use, but she'll have to be able to show that the items were only loaned to you and not gifts. And stop using the cell phone -- get your own.
