Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

me and my husbend went to a gas station and they called the

police saying we had been stealing monster energy drinks from them for the last month.and also they said they have this on vidio tape when i asked to see the vidio tape they said that we cant and that we could see it the day of court

i need to know were to go from here first of all i have no need to steal.i work every day please if any one could help

me i would appreciate this. thank you

Do you have a court date? If so then you have to make sure you are in court on that date. Eventually the state is going to have to present evidence which the store gave them in order to prove you are guilty. Without the evidence they have no case.
