What kind of trust are you talking about, who is the trustee, what is the purpose of the invoice, what is the purpose of its being notarized, and why is this a civil litigation issue? If this is a court-supervised trust and you are the trustee and are attempting to get paid out of the trust for care-giving, you may have the authority to pay yourself but will be obligated to make a periodic report to the court of disbursements. If something else is going on, you need to be more specific and someone may need to review the trust agreement for the trustee's powers and authority.
