Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

This night started out for me by coming home from work to find out my naighbors father was being detained becasue he was supposlibly covering illegal activity for his son.

. The cops said that he sold marijuana to an undercover cop some far distance from his home they said that the offer recognized him so they went to ask for him at his home his parents stanted that he wasent home and stil the police pushed the mother out they way and went to search the house.. they did find marijuana,baggys,and scale i belive that this was unlawfull the way they went into the house under the surcomstancs.... they are currently holding his father "randsome" unil the son turns himself in.. they thraten to report his father to immigration unless he the son turn himself im is that illegal.. the son his 17
