Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois
I paid for a car from a private owner for my son. I have paid all of the agreed amounts but the seller will not send me the title. What are my legal rights?

Hello. After reading your question I am concerned as to whether this person actually has title to the car. From your question I am unable to determine whether you had an agreement with this person in writing. I suggests filing a lawsuit and you certainly should be represented by an attorney. This process can be tricky.

This sounds like a breach of contract and you need to file a suit. good luck
