Towing procedures vary from municality to municipality

In Massachusetts, some municipalitiesput towing out for bids. The bidding proceduresare a whole can of worms. Some small towns divide the towing between all the towers in the community and then rotate their service:for example, one is the primary tower for one week, with a second the backup.Two others are assigned the next week. If a city is late in paying, the tower doesn't tow, and the cars build up . . .
