power of attorney
my mom bought a car for me. i am on the finace information. i need to have the paper work transferred to my name. my mm has developed alzheimers. she lives in illinois and i in texas.

If she is still competent, you can have her sign a power of attorney. However, I do not know what you mean when you say that you want the paper work transferred into your name. If you mean the title, and the loan is paid off, that is relatively simple. If the loan has not been paid off, you will have a difficult time getting your mom off of the loan papers. However, if you are going to continue to make the payments, you should just have the mail forwarded to you.
