how much rights does a person living with you have.....

I have a person (female)living with me on and off for 1 and a half years.she is an alchoholic and just spent 5 weeks at elgin mental health center over christmas for trying to commit suicide.was also at haymarket center chicago (detox)court ordered.and a place in rockford..because of 2 dui's.after elgin she was put on lots of medication,told not to drink,but as of lately..is again....heavy.my concern is when i leave for work,she's alone in house,and afraid something will happen while i'm away...(she doesn't work)iv'e tried to help through these past 15 monthes with no results.even talkin with parents and case worker at elgin health center her parents are to old to handle her..she is 39 years old.i have to get her out...but don't want to just throw her out if i don't have to..this is what i want to know...can she be thrown out if she doesn't leave on own.if not what are the steps i have to take.

You would have to take her to court for an order dispossessing her from the premises. You should hire an attorney to do this for your, as this is a relatively complex area of the law. You cannot simply lock her out, in my opinion.
