Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

I am a senior citizen. I am the plaintiff, and filing my complaint pro se. The defendant filed a motion to dismiss. The judge denied the defendant's motion to dismiss. At the time defendant filed their appearance, they also filed a jury demand. After the judge denied their motion to dismiss, the defendants withdrew their jury demand. The judge's order is that "the matter is transferred to Room --- with a status date of _/_/2016 at ___.m. and THAT THE DEFENDANT SHALL BRING THE JURY DEMAND AND PROOF OF PAYMENT TO ROOM ___ ON THAT DATE." I do not know the procedure I am to follow for that date. I do not know what forms to complete for that date.

Doesn't sound as if you should be preparing any documents for the next court date. You should hire an attorney or at the very least, consult with an attorney to assist you. I can be reached at 312-372-5600.

I'm a senior citizen too! It is too bad that you don't have an attorney. You should hire one. Good luck!
