Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

I was served with a subpeona to appear in court on a civil judgement. I missed the court date and a "body attachment" was issued. I was arrested, bonded out and have a court date for contempt of court. Can they send me back to jail or will I more than likely pay a fine?

They will probably take your bond money and apply it to the amount owed. If you do not cooperate in the process, you could be fined. It is not likely that you will be sent back to jail unless you violate a court order.
