Small Claims Court

Can a corporation be a defendant in small claims court. I have heard that it has to be individuals for small claims court to apply.

Yes--a corporation can be a defendant in small claims court. Also, a corporation can only be represented by an attorney -- individual shareholders or present or such cannot represent a corporation.
