Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois
If a suit (small claims) is filed in the wrong jurisdiction is there a fee for change of venue? If so, who is responsible to pay?

Yes-if the court, upon motion, decides to send the case to another court, the person who has filed the case will have to pay for the fees.
