Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

I was just thinking and was wondering If you have a felany can you sue someone and whatare some of your legal wrights are taking away.

Even if you have been convicted of a felony and have served jail time...you have not lost your other civil rights to sue when someone has committed a legal wrong against you. On the other hand you can't sue the people who testified against you and whose testimony contributed to your conviction -- like they lied or something -- that would not be allowed. Otherwise, you'll have to be more specific about the situation.
