Legal Question in Health Care Law in Illinois

assisted living..etc

my mother lives in minnesota and is having mental and health problems and may need assisted living or a nursing home...is there a way that she would not lose all of her money,annuitys etc.. i live in illinois

Minnesota law is different from Illinois and a good part of the answer depends on where your mother lives, not where you live. That being said, you should check with the local social security office as well as an elder law attorney for your mother's particular needs.
