Legal Question in Health Care Law in Illinois
I am RN not CPR certified, working in non -clinical setting for large hospital. Job description does not require CPR cert, manager will not pay for training, but am told I should provide CPR if needed while at work (200 employees in offices.) Am I covered under good Samaritin Act to do CPR?

I would be very surprised if there was not someone in your organization who could provide CPR training--heck, even I am a CPR instructor. I see our local Red Cross offers CPR training for $10, so training is not cost prohibitive, and is good to know even outside of your work situation.
