Legal Question in Health Care Law in Illinois
My wife and i are leaving the country for over two weeks. My mother is going to be watching the boys in our home for that period. I want her to be able to seek medical treatment if necessary while we are out of the country? What do I need to fill out in order to allow her to do that?

Hello. I suggests that you give your mom a power of attorney to act in your place on behalf of your children. Include language that will allow her to see your children's medical records, if necessary, while you are out of town. You definitely should have an attorney prepare this for you. Have a great trip!
