hi i have green card permament resident card to stay and work in usa .but im not usa citizen my question is can the usa goverment recall me togo to war like they doing right now for iraq sending solders over there can they take me or how that works who? thank you

We currently have no draft. We have an all volunteer army. Therefore, unless the law changes, you could not be drafted. However, as an LPR, you are obligated to register under the selective service laws for the military if you are under age 26. Failure to register could result in denial of naturalization benefits, student loans and other federal benefits. Furthermore, you could be prosecuted criminally for willful failure to register for selective service.
