Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois
I am an US citizen by birth but my parents are still Indian Citizen(by birth). They live here in US on a non-immigrant status.
Now while my parents are here in US, they recently applied for permanent residence to Canada. And they included my name too, in that application for permanent residence to Canada. Am I in any danger to loose my US citizenship???
Please be advised that I am still a minor child of my parents and three of us just have applied permanent residence(for Canada). We have not acquired canadian citizenship, yet..

Hello:
Applying for permanent residence does not take away your U.S. Citizenship.
