Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois
My ex-boyfriend came here on a school visa. He outstayed his visa and i recently had a domestic against him but dropped the charges. INS detained him and let me go home on an ankle bracelet. We also have a 6 month old child together. What is the likely hood that he'll be sent back to Mexico at his court date?

Your boyfriend needs to consult with an attorney in order to see if there are any options for him. Without more information it's impossible to say what the outcome of his removal proceedings will be. He probably will not be take from court and sent back to Mexico right then and there, he will have the opportunity to fight the deportation, unless of course he is violent again.
