Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois
I filed from B2 visa to F-1. Is 3months now since I filed and have not heard from USCIS. My I-94 expires in Feb,'13. What should I do? My proposed class has started and it takes 2.5months for USCIS to process for Adjustment of Status. Please advice me on what to do.

You should not start classes without an F-1 visa & you will accrue illegal presence if your I-539 is denied (& you stay beyond 2/13/13). Also, usually USCIS wants people to apply for the F-1 at the U.S. Consulate abroad, not through a change of status, so your I-539 might be denied.
