Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois
Just got married to a US citezen and our I-797 was approved. Apparently, he has not filed my immigrant visa request in lieu of K-3 or I-824 visa. May I know if I can still use my US visa should I wish to spend the holidays in Illinois? Please advise. Thanks

Are you in the U.S. already? What was the I-797 approval for? Was it an I-130? More information is needed in order to assist you.
Note, most out-of-state attorneys can legally help you because we are permitted to practice federal immigration law outside of our state of jurisdiction. Please feel free to contact me for a free initial consultation.
