Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois

Marrying Green card holder?

Please help. My wife is in India, she is a dentist. She tried twice to come to US, on F1 and visitor's visa, but consulate in Chennai denied. The reason was that a dentist cannot get visa to US. I want to know how much time and trouble it will take if I declare that I am married and want to invite her to US. I am a green card holder. Does marrying a green card holder allow her to enter US? If not, are there any other option for us? Please advice.

Re: Marrying Green card holder?

I am concerned that when she attempted prior entries, whether she advised she was married to an LPR. If she did not, then there is a problem with the next application. If she did, then that is why she was denied temporary visas. You can apply for her, there will be a waiting list (unless you were married at the time you got your LPR). Have you considered citizenship for yourself? Feel free to email me directly.
