Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois

Sponsorhip of my own H1b from my Limited Liability Partnership

Hi,

I'm currently on H1B, and working full time for my employer. I recently registered a Limited Liability Parntership, and I'm one of the two members. It offers the same services that my current field of work is in. So can I now sponsor (or transfer) my own H1 from my LLP? Is it ok to be a both a member (owner) of LLP and an employee on H1B from the same LLP?

Please guide.

Thanks

AP

LLP can sponsor your H1B if properly arranged and filed. It is ok to be both a member and an employee.

Is it ok to be both a member of LLP and an employee on H1B from the same LLP. My firm has done quite a few of H1Bs under similar situations. Please go to my firm's website and fill out the H1B information checklist for further evaluation.
