Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois
stamping of h1 approval
I am currently a student whose H1 has been approved on
september 23rd, but when i got the I-797 form from
ins, it did not have the I-94 attached with it. Can i
go to an american consulate in canada and get my h1-b
visa stamped there?
thank you

Re: stamping of h1 approval
You will need to first make an appointment using nvars.com and take the necessary documentation with you. You are not eligible to begin employment until you are issued an I-94 card upon reentry into the U.S.
