Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois
I came to the U.S.A IN 2000 as a student, I attended college for about a couple years . at that time my Father became ill (cancer). I knew I wasn't suppose to work but I had to , to survive. I couldn't stay in school and some time my dad passed, my status at this time was bad since I worked illegally. Couldn't go home to bury dad. I have been working since then. I stayed at my job so long and became an asset for this company. Now that company has closed down. Be fore there was no E-verify now even with my good experience I cannot get employed . I have to trust on God alone to provide for me. My question is would I qualify for the immigration reform act ? I have no criminal back ground.

Unfortunately, I cannot answer your question at this time, since no immigration reform law has been passed.
