Visa Expiration
What if your in the U.S. on a work visa, and your visa expires, and you subsequently get married to a U.S. citizen? What are your options and do you still face the posibility of deportation? Thank you.

Re: Visa Expiration
Assuming you marry in good faith, you may file to adjust your status to permanent residence (a greencard). Removal proceedings, or deportation, is a possiblity in some circumstances, but not a typical concern for those with a good faith marriage.

Re: Visa Expiration
If you entered the U.S. legally with a proper visa and 90 days has passed since your last entry into the U.S., marriage to a U.S. citizen should allow you to adjust your status to permanent residence.
