Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois
My wife and I got married in Argentina on March 2010, and I am trying to find the fastest and cheapest way possible to be able to bring her to the U.S. She has never been to the US. Once I start an immigration process, how soon can i expect my wife to come to the US? All of your help is greatly appreciated

If you are already married, the quickest way to bring your wife into the U.S. is via a K-3 visa (spouse visa).
Currently I am seeing in my office a processing time of anything from 3-6 months for the K-3 visas.

I would suggest that you bring your wife by filing for an immigrant visa (green card). This way your wife can enter the United States with a green card rather than having to enter on a K-3 visa and then applying for her green card. K-3 visa processing and immigrant visa processing times are similar. You can save some filing fees and time by filing for an immigrant visa for your wife through the U.S. Consulate in Argentina. An efficient attorney can also save you some time in the filing process. Please feel free to contact me for clarification or if you have any additional questions.

You'll be pursuing the lawful permanent residency application in conjunction with the K-3 spouse visa.
