Legal Question in Insurance Law in Illinois
My baby has my insurance(medical card) and fathers insurance (Reg insurance card)how does that work?
I am 23 yrs old and so is my bf..this is our first baby we are not married yet.. so i have the medical card and he has his regular insurance our son is under mine and under his insurance. My question is how does that work? I put my insurance as primary and his second. i dont understand how a sec insurance work.is it like whatever my insurance doesnt cover his will? and what else do i need to know about how this works. please help me im very confused...

Normally even if you put a claim in under your medicare, since it is public funds, medicare will go back to the private insurer, even if listed as secondary, to seek reimbursement.
