Legal Question in Insurance Law in Illinois
Car Accident
I hit a car infront of me on the freeway in stop and go traffic. The driver infront had an expired license. No damage apparent and no injuries. He is 72 years old. Does the expired license affect his law suit against me now for injuries?

No.
Re: Car Accident
Not to a great extent. The fact that he had no insurance might minimize his damages, but under the law you are responsible for his damages since you rear-ended his vehicle. I am sorry that I do not have more positive information for you.

Please be aware that my answer is not legal advice, it is merely information. You and I have not entered into an attorney/client relationship. The only way that I am legally responsible for your legal rights is if you have signed a written retainer agreement with my law firm.
