Legal Question in Insurance Law in Illinois

Hello. My father passed away in april of 09. We received his life insurance money a month later. Now they are calling us and saying they overpaid us and its completely their fault. Can i get this fee waived?

They may be able to come after you for the excess, but they shouldn't just call, they should document what they're talking about in reasonable enough detail so you can make an intelligent decision. But what is the "fee" they're talking about. You may need to resubmit your question and identify what the fee is all about.
