Legal Question in Insurance Law in Illinois
I gave my resignation November 10, and my employer terminated my insurance immediately even though I paid the premium through November. Can they do that?

Maybe -- most situations require you to go on "COBRA" (although it is typically very expensive) and your former employer should have given you the information to transition. Go to your former employer and get that information! If you had an HR manual or know that other employees like you had their insurance continued for a period of time after termination, however, you may have some recourse to be treated equally.
