insurance claim

Could I claim my belongings on my boyfriend insurance claim??. He is married but sepparated from his wife and shortly,after I moved in with him (with all my stuff) there was a fire at his apartament complex(not our fault)and we lost everything. The insurance is on his name only but his wife was on the lease and my name is not.
