Legal Question in Insurance Law in Illinois
Insurance company refuses to pay
Recently I got into a car accident. The person who hit me was a truck driver. The accident damaged my car. At the time of the accident I the truck company had me to sign a paper saying I was not hurt at that time. But after a week or so I occured spinal pains as well as migranes. I have to go to therapy to take care of it. I attempted to ask the company to compensate me for my personal injury, including the doctor bill. But they refuse because they say the paper I signed said I wasn't hurt. However I didn't know that I would eventually incure physical problems. Can you help me....

Re: Insurance company refuses to pay
I would strongly suggest that you consult with an attorney in your area who handles personal injury cases. The paper that you signed is probably not going to prevent you from being compensated for your injury. I have a general practice of law in both Missouri and Illinois, and I may be able to help you myself. You may call me for a free telephone consultation at 314-727-2822.
